Shimming can make or break an AEG. Proper shimming increases reliability, efficiency, and even ROF in some cases. Motors can draw less power and run cooler on properly shimmed gearsets as well. Brill Armory recommends the pinion-to-bevel shimming method and checking for proper motor alignment & height prior to shimming the gears.

Please note: Shims may come in different colors and shapes depending on the batch produced. The amount of shims in the pack may vary slightly (about 27 to 33 shims).

All silver-colored shim pack contains ~10x 0.1mm, 0.2mm, and 0.3mm shims.
Mixed-color pack contains ~10x 0.1, 0.15, and 0.2mm shims.
