This is a bushing installation tool. It is made of steel and is designed to allow easier hammering of bushings into a tight-fitting gearbox shell.

Note: Use only gentle taps when pressing the bushings into a gearbox shell, as excessive force can warp or damage the shell. If extreme force is required for bushings to fit, then the bushings are likely not compatible with the shell.
