Details: This is a CNC-machined Pinion Gear by SHS. It's stronger than the standard MIM machined SHS Pinion Gears. SHS pinions have a good reputation as they mesh well with many different brand bevel gears. Black oxide coated for durability.
This O-type pinion gear can be pressed onto O-type and D-type shafts. Before installing this pinion, make sure to clean the motor shaft and inside of the pinion gear. Press-fit Green loctite (648) is recommended ensure that the pinion is secure.
Interestingly, this new batch has grub screws like D-type pinions do.
