Siegetek Concepts is an innovative, USA-based company that produces the highest quality Gear sets in the world. These Gen 2 gears are no exception, and have been even further enhanced. For Airsofters who want to squeeze out every last drop of performance into their AEG, Siegetek gears are a must-have.

Because there is an extra tooth, the piston is further retracted which allows for more air volume to enter the cylinder. Therefore, the 9-Tooth Cyclone Sector Gear allows for more power.

Please keep in mind that because there is an extra tooth, spring pairing is of heightened importance. Keep your piston light, your spring strong, and your ROF moderate to avoid mistiming.

This Gear will give you a ridiculously high rate of fire.

The following enhancements are described by RiotSC himself:

"These Gen 2 gears use a new 2-piece design compared to the original version's 5-piece. The material has also been updated to even stronger nickel chromoly steel as opposed to the chromoly steel used in the original version. The surface finish has been changed to manganese phosphate from the original black oxide. Manganese phosphate provides better wear resistance and lubricant retention properties."

Installing a DSG Gearset requires technical expertise and fine tuning of the Gearbox. I had to do a lot of research and read voraciously before I could unlock the full potential of these gears. The official DSG instruction manual is a good start: http://www.siegetek.com/instructions/cyclone.pdf

Fantastic quality as always, love Riot gears. I had previously built a DSG'd gun, but I always wanted to squeeze a little higher FPS out of it. When I saw the 9-tooth double sector gear, I had to try it. Build: Lonex V2 shell, SHS piston, SHS pom piston head, stock AGM gears (actually have held up for ~1000 rounds now), Lonex tappet plate, Core air nozzle, stock ported cylinder and head. ZCI 22tpa high-torque and Core m170 spring, uncut. Chimera fet and a 11.1v 45c discharge battery. Barrel group: SHS 300mm 6.03 tightbore, prommy flat bucking and prommy bridge nub. Turns out the 300mm barrel isn't over-volumed at all. Performance: Chrono'd at 415fps with an Elite Force .20, 375 with .25s. RPS of about 40-45. I was absolutely blown away by those number. 415 fps out of a DSG! With the old 8-tooth gear, I was pulling about 360 fps (.20) tops with a similar build. I was expecting maybe, 370-380 fps with the added tooth, but not 415... For a low-speed/high-power DSG build, this gear is perfect. Used the gun at an outdoor Op with no issues, and I was never out-ranged once. 10/10 would buy again.

Love this 9 tooth DSG, for shorter barrels around 200mm, you won't be undervoluming at all. Allows for higher FPS than the 8 tooth as it pulls back the spring a little more...currently getting 315 FPS on an M190 cut 7 coils on an 18:1 setup. Buy it.
