Details: Retro ARMS has reworked and redesigned these AEG pistons in a new material.
The new design features a very large amount of pickup tooth support.
Due to the removed teeth, this piston will have correct AoE in the vast majority of Gearboxes, although some gearboxes may require a little more material to be removed.
The metal racks are visually straighter than most China-manufactured pistons and sit in the piston body well. The rack sits without wobble, but can be pulled out by hand to further modify or secure the rack.
Due to CNC machining, this piston is not subject to any dimensional issues caused by plastic injection molding/casting.
This piston has a narrow inner diameter at 15.4mm, so it may not be compatible with some thrust bearings.
