product details

These are shock dampening Sorbothane pads for VSR-10's, and they come with adhesive for easy installation. These pads are designed to minimize the impact, sound and the vibration from higher power outputs. LayLax recommends these pads for users who are using LayLax Cylinder Heads and/or Trigger sets with springs above M120SP.

Note for users of LayLax Trigger Sets & LayLax Pistons:

M190SP springs can be used with the LayLax Zero trigger & High-Pressure Piston, but the stock rubber and Silent Shaft on the High-Pressure Piston are meant to be used under lower power levels (SP120 strength or below). So, if you upgrade to a spring over SP130, LayLax recommends taking out the 2 parts (Damper rubber and Silent Shaft) or they may break. You can unscrew the shaft, and screw in a set screw. These two parts are for a silencing effect, so taking them out will not affect the performance of the piston. LayLax also strongly recommends the use of these Sorbothane Pads for springs above SP120.

When you install a high power spring with products like the LayLax Zero trigger, checking the screws regularly is recommended to avoid loosening of the screws due to vibration.

LayLax also claims that these pads are wear and tear parts that require occasional replacement.
