These barrels are cold-hammer forged, which is the same process that real firearm barrels undergo. This process creates a very consistent bore, and PDI states that this gives the barrel a tolerance of +0.002mm.

The material is 304 Stainless Steel. Steel has superior corrosion resistance over brass barrels. Additionally, PDI barrels are very well known for their straightness and quality control.

This barrel is 6.01, which optimizes air efficiency. Since the 6.01 bore is far tighter than the industry standard 6.08, using high quality and consistently made BB's is of heightened importance. Using misshapen or low quality BB's with a tight bore barrel may cause a compression jam.

The bore is coated with Palsonite, which is a technically advanced surface treatment that results in an extremely hard and smooth bore with remarkable abrasion resistance.

Great product. After installation with a REAPS bucking and basic mods, this barrel gave me quarter sized groupings at 25ft, WITH A PISTOL. Pretty impressive. Only con really is that it's $35 for a pistol barrel, which may be overkill to some people, but you get what you pay for. Idk how much it increased my fps or range, but accuracy is great.
